Travelers to Paris need a valid passport and visa. American citizens can visit without a visa for up to 90 days. Paris is a good destination all year round, because of the notable events throughout the year. There are always theater shows, concerts, and ballets to go to from January to December. May to June is often the peak season. However, there are crowds who flock to the capital from September to October for the trade fairs.
